June 15, 2010 (FinancialWire) – Chipmaker Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL) has appointedTing Wei Li as its new vice president and general manager of China business.
Marvell currently has operations in Shanghai, Beijing, Hefei and Shenzhen, China. The company’s design center in Shanghai has more than 800 engineers serving Chinese mobile and consumer electronics companies.
In his new position at Marvell, Li will play a role in setting the strategic direction for Marvell's China operation with overall responsibility for supporting existing and new business development, sales and customers.
