June 11, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Telvent (NASDAQ: TLVT) has signed a new contract with Bunde Etzel Pipeline – Gesellschaft mbH & Co. KG to deliver a turnkey control system for the company's newly constructed natural gas transport pipeline.

Telvent will install and deploy the control system.

Telvent's solution is based on its advanced-technology supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system. High-technology gas measurement devices will be included to feed pipeline data to the SCADA system and to integrated pipeline modeling applications. A high-speed, redundant fiber optic network delivers real-time pipeline data to operators at main control centers and remote centers located along the pipeline.
