May 10, 2010 (FinancialWire) – The board of directors of Actuate Corp. (NASDAQ: ACTU) has approved a share repurchase program of up to an aggregate of $5 million during Q2 2010.
Actuate said it plans to fund its repurchase program with existing cash and cash equivalents.
California-based Actuate founded and continues to co-lead the Eclipse BIRT open source project. BIRT is a development environment for Rich Information Applications that present structured data and content in interactive ways via the web on various devices.
