For over six years, he was a partner resident in the Washington, D.C. law office of Arter and Hadden, LLP, and was chairman of its Real Estate Practice Group. Bensignor was also a partner with Melrod, Redman & Gartlan in Washington, D.C., specializing in real estate development and finance, and corporate transactions and matters.
