ICF International Wins 4 NY DOT Contracts

April 13, 2010 (FinancialWire) — ICF International (NASDAQ: ICFI), a provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, said that it will participate in four new contracts with the New York State Department of Transportation that have a total around value of $7 million.

The company said that the contracts have a potential five-year term, which includes two option years.

Under the terms of the agreements, ICF International will provide strategic transportation demand management and “Commuter Choice” service planning to help improve traffic congestion, air quality, commuting, and mobility on roadways across the state and in the New York City metropolitan area.

ICF said that the work will support NYSDOT’s goals of reducing single occupant vehicle use and miles of travel while at the same time providing flexibility, choices, and an improved quality of life.

As prime contractor on one contract that covers the entire state of New York, ICF International will provide strategic TDM and Commuter Choice service planning.

Additionally, as subcontractor on the other three contracts, ICF International will serve the New York City metropolitan area by supporting a strategic TDM program.

Virginia-based ICF International partners with government and commercial clients to deliver professional services and technology solutions in the energy and climate change; environment and infrastructure; health, human services, and social programs; and homeland security and defense markets.
