Nicor Declares 46.5 Cent Dividend
February 22, 2010 (FinancialWire) — The board of directors of Nicor Inc. (NYSE: GAS) has declared a quarterly common stock dividend of 46.5 cents per share, payable May 1, 2010, to stockholders of record on March 31, 2010.
This payment continues the stock’s annual dividend rate of $1.86 per share and represents the 225th consecutive quarterly dividend payment by the company.
Nicor also declared dividends for its preferred stock, payable May 1, including $.56 for the company’s 4.48% preferred shares and $. 625 for its 5.00% convertible preferred shares
Illinois-based Nicor is a holding company whose primary business is Nicor Gas, a natural gas distribution firm.
