Live, Interactive Equities Market Webcast

February 10, 2010 (FinancialWire) (Investrend Broadcast Syndicate) — Every business day at 9:30 AM (Eastern U.S. time), Joel Wintner presents a live, interactive webcast about the U.S. equities markets, via FinVidea.com.

During Monday’s presentation, Wintner’s responses to viewer-participants included naming Procter & Gamble (NYSE: PG) and Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) as “stocks to watch”.

When asked about the broader picture, Wintner noted that “The stock market likes the weather, because it keeps Washington closed,” adding that “A day ago, buyers came in to prop up the market. Today they are moving it still further up.”

Wintner also noted that “On retreat (the Dow) settled below 10,000. The key factors working on the markets are the problems with the PIIGS and the government’s unrelenting pressure on the banks.”

Then, from a more technical perspective, Wintner added, “the Dow should end the day way up well over 100 points. Support for the DOW is 9817, 9500 is a big support area,” adding the “the S&P should rise to 1070.”
