January 29, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Smith-Midland Corp. (OTCBB: SMID) said it has been awarded a contract to provide eight precast concrete buildings as part of an overhaul of the Wilderness Wastewater Plant in Orange County, Virginia.

The buildings, which are worth more than $350,000 according to Smith-Midland, will allow the two million gallon-per-day plant to meet enhanced nutrient removal requirements. The buildings are scheduled be delivered to the site, located around 50 miles south of Washington, D.C., by summer 2010.
