WHO Pushes Back Against H1N1 Nay-Sayers
January 26, 2010 /EIN PRESSWIRE/ Under criticism for helping to manufacture a fake pandemic, the WHO fought back against allegations of misrepresenting the H1N1 epidemic.
Calling swine flu critics "irresponsible" for having mischaracterized the pandemic response, the WHO said in a statement to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe that the H1N1 outbreak had all the scientific characteristics of a pandemic.
The WHO has been under fire from EU legislative bodies who have implied, if not accused, the WHO had hyped up the threat of H1N1 due to influence from the pharmaceutical industry.
