Evolution Development will hold intellectual property and manage the company’s research and development efforts, according to its parent.

Phillips will continue to be Adjunct Professor of Wood and Paper Science and Executive in Residence at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina. Before retirement in 2005, Phillips spent 34 years with International Paper, where he worked on a variety of manufacturing and technical assignments.
