Under the program, Lifeway Foods may repurchase up to 100,000 shares of the company’s common stock through the open market within a period of one year from the date of the first purchase.

Lifeway began its previous buyback program of 100,000 shares in December 2008, and completed the repurchase program in July 2009. The company said it will use its available cash resources to fund the stock repurchase program.
