(NASDAQ: YUII), a supplier of day-old chickens raised for meat production in the People’s Republic of China, said it has engaged Grant Thornton, the China member firm of Grant Thornton International as its new independent auditor, effective December 8, 2009. Grant Thornton replaced Child Van Wagoner & Bradshaw, PLLC.

The company said its decision to change accountants was recommended, authorized and approved by the audit committee of the Yuhe board of directors. Yuhe said it had no disagreements with Child Van Wagoner & Bradshaw from the time of the initial engagement to its dismissal, including the company’s most recent fiscal year and the subsequent interim periods.
