December 7, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Ever-Glory International Group, Inc. (AMEX: EVK) said that Bennet P. Tchaikovsky, an independent director of the firm and chairman of its audit committee and a member of its Compensation Committee, has resigned from each of the positions effective on November 25.

The company said that Tchaikovsky’s resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to the company’s operations, policies or practices.

Ever-Glory said its has commenced a search for his successor. In the interim, the other two independent directors serving on the audit committee and Compensation Committee, Zhixue Zhang and Changyu Qi will share Tchaikovsky ’s responsibilities until a successor can be named.
