Rangen will chair the audit committee and has been designated as the “audit committee financial expert” under applicable US Securities and Exchange Commission rules. He will also serve as a member of the Compensation Committee.

Rangen is senior vice president and Chief Accounting officer of UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) and has served in that capacity since December 2006. Before joining UnitedHealth he served in several capacities, including executive vice president and chief financial officer of Alliant Techsystems and as an accountant with Deloitte & Touche.
