November 20, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Indian IT outsourcing firm Wipro’s (NYSE: WIT) Infocrossing unit said it has entered into a multi-year agreement to provide infrastructure services for Cliffs Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: CLF).

Cliffs is an international mining and natural resources company. It is North America’s largest producer of iron ore pellets, a major supplier of direct-shipping lump and fines iron ore out of Australia and a significant producer of metallurgical coal.

Under the terms of the agreement, Infocrossing will provide to Cliffs server, storage and architecture services from its data centers. Additionally, Infocrossing will deliver service desk and desktop support to approximately 2000 employees across Cliffs’ multiple North American administrative and operating locations.

Infocrossing is a provider of selective IT infrastructure, enterprise application and business process outsourcing services.
