Heggedahl Named CEO Of Avista Unit
November 6, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Avista Corp. (NYSE: AVA) has named Jeff D. Heggedahl as president and chief executive officer of its Advantage IQ subsidiary effective December 1. Advantage IQ is a provider of expense management solutions for companies in North America.
Prior to joining Avista, Heggedahl was the president and CEO of Scantron, a testing and assessment company with a focus on software, survey and data capture. He previously served as president of Harland Printed Products and Marketing Services.
Spokane, Washington-based Avista is an energy company involved in the production, transmission and distribution of energy as well as other energy-related businesses.
Avista Utilities is the firm’s operating division that provides electric service to 355,000 homes and businesses and natural gas to 312,000 homes and businesses in three Western states, serving more than 492,000 customers. Avista’s primary, non-regulated subsidiary is Advantage IQ.
