November 5, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Pure Earth, Inc., (OTCBB: PREA) (Current Market Cap: $3.15 Mil.) said it has been awarded an environmental project involving the construction of a new basketball arena for the New Jersey NETS basketball team in Brooklyn, New York. The company estimates the project value at $14 million
The project is slated to begin in late 2009, and is scheduled for completion in late 2010. Pure Earth said it was able to secure this project as a result of its network of treatment and recycling facilities, which can treat and reuse the contaminated soils that will be removed from the site.
Pure Earth said it has previously worked with the project’s engineering firm and general contractor to perform projects of this size in the past.
