October 21, 2009 (FinancialWire) — On4 Communications, Inc. (OTCBB: ONCI) (Current Market Cap: $50.3 Mil.) said it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire Pets911, web based pet portal established in 1999. On4 has agreed to issue three million shares of its common stock for the portal.

Pets911, along with its toll free telephone line, is focused on various aspects of pet welfare. The firm is partnered with animal welfare organizations including The Humane Society of the United States, SPAY/USA, Alley Cat Allies, and local shelters around the U.S.

The site provides information to the public on pet adoption, licensing, lost and found pets, and provides a hotline to report cruelty to animals.

On4 CEO Cameron Robb said the addition of Pets911 is “a key component” in enabling On4’s PetsMobility to continue to expand upon its brand while providing it with an integrated delivery platform to access the pet market.

Scottsdale, Arizona-based On4 Communications has offices in Scottsdale, Richmond, British Columbia and representation in China. The company provides GSM or CDMA devices or fully integrated custom communications solutions.

The company’s PetsMobility subsidiary offers a line of products designed to track pets.
