Ciber Wins $14 Million Security Libya Contract

October 8, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Ciber, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) has won a $14.1 million contract with the Misurata Free Zone, an industrial hub in Libya, to design and install a security system for Phase 1 of this new facility.

The Misurata Free Zone provides the north coast of Africa with a central hub for industrial, service and commercial activities. The 13.6-square-mile facility features a port for the trans-shipment of goods across the Mediterranean.

Ciber’s contract is to provide a port security program that delivers command and control capabilities for the access control, land and water systems and port ingress and egress systems to be installed as part of the project.

The company will design, install and maintain this comprehensive security system. The project will run for 18 months.
