Stanley Wins $30 Million Army Contract
October 7, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Stanley, Inc. (NYSE: SXE) said it was awarded a five-year, firm-fixed-price contract valued at up to $30 million by the U.S. Army to provide professional logistics and personnel services to the U.S. Army Central Command in theater.
Under the award, Stanley will provide logistical planning, theater strategy and policy assistance for the U.S. Central Command chief logistician and his staff.
Stanley logisticians will support ammunition operations, supply sustainment activities, maintenance oversight and equipment readiness tracking, logistics automation, transportation planning, personnel support services and strength management.
The work will take place at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.
Arlington, Virginia-based Stanley is a provider of information technology services and solutions to U.S. defense, intelligence and federal civilian government agencies.
