Traumatic head injuries - Disney stunt performer dies after suffering severe head injury
Dallas, Texas (CaymanMama.com) — A Disney performer suffered a severe head injury and died Monday night during rehearsal. The performer, as stated by the Walt Disney spokeswoman, was performing a tumbling roll for the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at the Disney studio, reports CNN. No details regarding the incident have been given so far.
As per the report, this was the third fatal accident in the past 2 months, though all the performers receive extensive training says the Disney spokeswoman.
The cause of death has been ruled as head injury in the case of the stunt man who was rehearsing for the film. The other deaths the occurred was of a performer who died due to an incident in a private show while the first death happened in July when two monorails collided, the driver of the train died as the result of this collision.
The Disney studio says that its will conduct an inquiry into each accident.
The families of the deceased have lost an earning member in all of the above incidents. The cause of their deaths have not been ascertained.
