O2Micro Settles With BenQ, LG
September 22, 2009 (FinancialWire) — O2Micro(r) International Ltd. (NASDAQ: OIIM) has settled a dispute before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) relating to BenQ Corp., BenQ America Corp., LG Electronics Inc. and LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc.
LG Electronics and BenQ now license certain O2Micro patents relating to inverter technology.
The ITC investigation, No. 337-TA-666, is entitled Certain Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp Inverter Circuits and Products Containing Same.
