September 8, 2009 (FinancialWire) — UTStarcom, Inc. (NASDAQ: UTSI) has signed a reseller agreement with eLandia (OTCBB: ELAN) Desca unit, a Miami-based infrastructure and telecommunications networking company.

According to UTStarcom, the agreement will help accelerate the company’s expansion into 14 markets in Central and South America with the support from Desca’s more than 700 sales, service delivery and customer service employees.

Alameda, California-based UTStarcom sells IP-based networking solutions and international service and support to operators in telecommunications markets around the world.
