Stonestreet To Head Private Banking Unit At Regions
September 8, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Regions Financial corp. (NYSE: RF) has named Nick Stonestreet as executive vice president leading the private banking division of its business services group. In this capacity, Stonestreet will provide direct oversight for products and services for high net worth clients.
Stonestreet most recently served as president and chief executive officer for BCR Environmental. Prior to joining BCR, he ran private banking in the Southeast for Merrill Lynch (NYE: MER).
During his more than 14 years with Merrill Lynch, Stonestreet held international positions including CEO and general manager of Bank Suisse in Geneva, chairman and global head of international trust and wealth structuring.
Prior to working at Merrill Lynch, Stonestreet worked at SunTrust Bank as vice president and trust officer and credit analyst. He began his career at Dupont do Brasil in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as a financial analyst.
