Simulations Plus Extends Buyback Authorization
August 24, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Simulations Plus, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: SLP) (Current Market Cap: $27.11 Mil.) board has approved an extension of the company’s share repurchase program through December 1.
The board originally authorized a share repurchase program enabling the buyback of up to $2.5 million in shares during a 12-month period beginning October 27, 2008. The actual buyback, however, was not initiated until December 2 of last year, according to the company.
Lancaster, California-based Simulations Plus is a developer of drug discovery and development software, which is licensed to and used in the conduct of drug research by pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and drug delivery companies.
