(OTC: GBRC) has received a Notice of Allowance in its U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 11/610,823, “Microwave-Based Recovery of Hydrocarbons and Fossil Fuels.” The patent application is for the technology that is the core of the company’s first product, the Patriot 1(tm) Tire-to-Fuel Oil Recycling System, as well potential future applications.

A Notice of Allowance is issued by the United States Patent and Trademark office (U.S.PTO) if one or more of the claims of an application are allowed, and precedes the formal patent issuance. The patent application was assigned to and corresponds to the use of high frequency microwave-based technology to convert tires and other materials and fluids into higher-value hydrocarbon products and other valuable carbon based materials.
