(TSX: LRI) announced that its second-quarter net earnings amounted to $300,000 or $0.02 per share, compared to net earnings of $700,000 or $0.04 per share for the second quarter of 2008. Selling, general and administrative expenses have remained stable at $2.6 million for the second quarter of 2009, compared to $2.7 million for the second quarter of 2008. Revenues for the quarter were $13.9 million, down 14% from $16.1 million in the second quarter of 2008. LAB Research Inc. shares were down $0.05 at $0.40 on Friday.
