Schiff Named CFO Of Electronic Game Card

August 11, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Electronic Game Card, Inc. (OTCBB: EGMI) (Current Market Cap: $96.75 Mil.) has appointed Thomas E. Schiff as its chief financial officer effective September 1. He replaces Linden J. Boyne who is retiring after serving as ECG’s interim CFO, corporate secretary and board member over the last three years.

Schiff, who was formerly a certified public accountant, will work from Electronic Game’s new headquarters in Irvine, California.

He received his CPA certification while at KPMG, where he was an audit services and computer audit specialist. Schiff also previously served as executive vice president and CFO for Planetwide Games, an interactive entertainment software and digital media company.

Prior to Planetwide Games, Schiff was executive vice president and CFO of SSP Solutions, a digital security company. From 1996 to 2000, he was CFO for Gotcha International, an international trademark licensor of apparel products.
