July 30, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Hemisphere GPS (TSX: HEM) reported a second-quarter net loss of $1.26 million U.S. or $0.02 U.S. per share, compared to net income of $3.17 million U.S. or $0.06 U.S. per share last year. Sales declined to $14.47 million U.S. from $23.04 million U.S. in the comparable period a year ago. Hemisphere GPS shares were down $0.06 at $1.09.
