Mosaic Closes $500 Million Credit Facility

July 30, 2009 (FinancialWire) — The Mosaic Co. (NYSE: MOS) said it has entered into a new unsecured $500 million revolving credit facility with a syndicate of banks. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (NYSE: WFC) is the administrative agent.

This credit facility has a three year term and replaces a secured credit agreement that included a $450 million revolving credit facility scheduled to mature in February 2010.

Plymouth, Minnesota-based Mosaic is a producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients.

The company provides phosphates and potash fertilizers and feed ingredients for the global agriculture industry.
