General Dynamics Wins $11 Million Perot Systems Contract
July 14, 2009 (FinancialWire) — General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology unit has been awarded an $11 million, three-year task order by Perot Systems’ (NYSE: PER) government services unit to support the U.S. Army at Fort Monmouth.
As a subcontractor to Perot Systems, General Dynamics will provide a range of command, control, communications, computers and information management support and services to the Fort Monmouth Directorate of Information Management.
Support will include systems administration, e-mail administration, help desk and desktop support, network operations and security, information assurance and network maintenance.
General Dynamics information technology unit provides information technology, systems engineering and professional services to customers in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, federal civilian government and commercial sectors.
Falls Church, Virginia-based General Dynamics offers business aviation systems, land and expeditionary combat systems, armaments and munitions, shipbuilding and marine systems and information systems and technologies.
