Biorem Receives $700,000 Order

June 2, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Biorem Inc. (OTC: BIRMF) (TSXV: BRM) said it has received a biotrickling filter order valued at $700,000 from a Florida customer.

The company said it will supply three Mytilus biotrickling filtration systems to treat 24,000 cfm of polluted air streams with high hydrogen sulfide levels at a municipal wastewater treatment plant. Biorem said it expects that the project will revenue in the latter part of this year.

Canada-based Biorem manufactures Biosorbens biofilter media and is a supplier of biofilters for air pollution control in municipal and industrial applications, including Biocube modular units and Mytilus biotrickling filters.

The company’s products are used for odor control at wastewater treatment plants across North America.
