May 27, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Kevin J. Bratton has joined Strategic Diagnostics Inc. (NASDAQ: SDIX) (Current Market Cap: US$27.07 Mil.) as its vice president of finance and chief financial officer, effective June 1. He was most recently senior vice president for business operations at EUSA Pharma, Inc.

Bratton had been SVP and CFO of Cytogen Corp. prior to its acquisition by EUSA Pharma in May 2008.

Prior to joining Cytogen, Bratton was CFO at Metrologic Instruments, a technology company. Bratton also worked at The JPM Co., where he served as CFO and as director of external reporting.

As part of Bratton’s employment arrangements, he will receive a nonqualified option to purchase 75,000 shares of common stock at an exercise price of $1.50, as well as 25,000 shares of restricted stock, subject to the terms set forth in grant agreements. Both the option and the restricted stock vest in four equal annual installments, beginning on the first anniversary of the date of grant.
