May 15, 2009 (FinancialWire) — SpongeTech Delivery Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: SPNG) (Current Market Cap: US$20.82 Mil.) said it has secured $4.3 million in new orders over the week beginning May 10.

The company said has received around $10 million in new orders over the month of May.

Included within the current week’s new orders are two to top retailers as first time customers, according to SpongeTech. The company said that the two orders will give it footprints in major supermarket chains and membership warehouse clubs to follow up on the footprints it already has in drug stores and auto centers.

SpongeTech COO Steven Moskowitz said the company is experiencing a “strong rate of re-orders” in the U.S., in combination with the orders from newly established retail and other accounts. He said, “Last year at this time we were in 500 doors. This year, exactly a year later, we are in over 25,000 doors between pet auto and children’s products.”
