$3.1 million awarded to Sonoma County property owner

San Jose, CA - May 11, 2009 -- Terra Law LLP, a San Jose-based law firm specializing in real estate, business, and intellectual property law, has received a major judgment in the amount of $3.1 million in a case involving a Sonoma County property owner in a construction defect case.

Terra Law attorneys David B. Draper and Martin D. Dioli successfully argued that North Bay contractor Nordby Construction and its subcontractors made multiple errors and omissions in the construction of a $28 million, 228-unit resort in Windsor, CA. The four week trial in California Superior Court resulted in the $3.1 million judgment being entered on April 13, 2009 by Judge Elaine Rushing of Sonoma County.
