Computer Sciences Inks $100 Million Outsourcing Contract With Xerox

May 6, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) said it has signed an information technology outsourcing agreement with Xerox Corp. (NYSE: XRX). The contract, which has a seven-year base period, is valued in excess of $100 million, according to CSC.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide mainframe processing and application support to Xerox’s North American business.

Falls Church, Virginia-based Computer Sciences offers business solutions and services, global outsourcing services and the services geared to the North American public sector.

The company’s services include systems design and integration, information technology and business process outsourcing, applications software development, web and application hosting, mission support and management consulting. CSC has around 92,000 employees.
