Aecom Technology Buys Construction Management Firm
May 4, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Aecom Technology Corp. (NYSE: ACM) has acquired Savant, a provider of construction-management consultancy services.
U.K.-based Savant, which has around 600 employees, provides project, cost and construction-management consultancy services to both private and public clients in 13 countries throughout Europe.
Aecom said that the acquisition expands its global presence, particularly in Russia, Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Los Angeles-based Aecom is a provider of professional technical and management support services to a range of markets, including transportation, facilities, environmental and energy. The company has more than 43,000 employees around the world.
