Xenonics Receives $1.4 Million Army Order
NightHunter 3 is a smaller, lighter version of Xenonics' NightHunter II system and can illuminate targets at a greater distance. The hand-held or weapons-mountable illumination system features integrated IR capability, and is compatible with any power source, according to the company.
The order is scheduled to ship immediately, according to Xenonics. Including this order, since January 2009 the company said it has received purchase orders for its NightHunter and SuperVision products totaling $4.7 million.
Carlsbad, California-based Xenonics Holdings develops and produces ultra-high-intensity illumination and low-light vision products for military, law enforcement, public safety, and commercial and private sector applications.
