Colds Make Life a Misery for Workers

(MMD Newswire) April 1, 2009 -- The latest research from Minster Law Solicitors showed that in the current unstable economic climate, two out of five Britons will avoid taking sick leave because they are afraid they will risk losing their jobs.

However, a poll of 6000 people, by social networking site www.alljoinon.com, taken early last year showed that the average worker takes off one day a year with a headache or migraine, two days for a cold and three and a half days for a sickness bug. This means that a large number of people are showing up to work with the cold or other ailments and spreading their germs to other workers making the workplace an unhealthy environment for all workers.

When one's emotional wellbeing suffers, then general health usually declines as well. Over the counter medications may relieve symptoms for a while but do not treat the underlying cause of the problem. The problem then comes back soon after.

Australian Acupuncturist and Chiropractor, Terry Power is the presenter of a special type of seminar that teaches the public how to be empowered in their own health through some simple home techniques. He teaches them to access better body and mind functioning through developing intuitive techniques. The famed scientist Albert Einstein, an intellectual heavyweight said that "the intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the conscious mind - a faithful servant".

Patients cannot always get an appointment straight away when they get sick and may not have time to go in for a professional treatment. Patients may also want to be able to help themselves fully. Mr. Power is developing within people who attend his seminars the tools to overcome their health problems and achieve true health and vitality and at the same time, develop a part of their mind that is essential for dramatic success in every part of life.

This is important for people of all ages - the young middle age and also the older age groups. Older people are in no way wanting to just curl up and stop enjoying life. They want to be something that counts and they want to develop themselves in important ways.

Terry wanted to come and share these uniquely empowering skills with the people of London. So in April he is presenting a seminar teaching people how to achieve true health, happiness and abundance. The seminar will be held on Friday, 17th April, 2009 at 6pm till 10pm at the Express by Holiday Inn, Hammersmith. The fee is £65.
