March 31, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- CACI International Inc (NYSE: CAI) said that it has been awarded an $11 million prime contract to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in budgetary compliance initiatives involving health and benefits administration.

The contract is for one base year and three option years and was made through the GSA Answer GWAC contract vehicle.

CACI said that the new work will help ensure financial adherence to federal mandates through enhanced portfolio programming and management of the VA's information technology infrastructure.
