New Book Teaches how to Build a Relationship with God

Learn how to build a relationship with God in terms of everyday life

(MMD Newswire) February 9, 2009 -- This book is about life, not religion. Learn how to build a relationship with God based on the teachings of Jesus Christ associated with common knowledge. God is with us right now and wisdom exists where the intellect meets salvation. Many are confused and some new believers do not fully understand what is being taught today from a biblical standpoint. I write about developing a personal relationship with God in terms of everyday life. It is a matter of what we believe that drives faith.

God's message is fact, not left to human opinion, and we should discontinue blaming one another for acts performed by religious groups in the past. Without including the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the scriptures are merely a sequence of historical events just like the others. "Become a Better You" written by Joel Olsteen doesn't address it, "The Purpose Driven Life" written by Rich Warren doesn't explain it, but this book will place the sacrifice of Jesus Christ into its proper perspective. As we repent and ask God for forgiveness, it is through His human sacrifice that we recognize our individual shortcomings. Many ministers have isolated people because their message is unclear about the measurement of God versus the modern church. In many ways the operation reflect a time when religious leaders were disregarding the teachings of Jesus and questioned the simplicity of God's message. Perhaps believers are facing tremendous social pressure, but no worldly relationship is worth disregarding the facts about humanity and our need for salvation.

God has given us the means to procreate with the motivation of utmost pleasure. Instead of viewing the act with the sensitivity in which it was designed, some minds have become confused and consumed with perversion without recognizing the byproduct related to our culture as a whole. I believe women are the core of these issues whether associated with companionship or developing a healthy mindset in children, and thus I conclude that the problems introduced to humanity at the beginning of time still perpetuate the lives of adults and children today. At some point, I would like women to agree upon the groundwork needed to make the lives of all women less complicated. Women are strong, powerful and impressionable and believers are to be on one accord. This book is designed to do just that! JESUS is for Everybody illustrates that: "God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son. Anyone who believes in Him will not die but will have eternal life. God did not send His son into the world to judge the world. He sent His son to save the world through Him. Anyone who believes in Him is not judged. But anyone who does not believe is judged already. He has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. Here is the judgment. Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light. They loved darkness because what they did was evil." (John 3:16-19)

The Holy Trinity is the spiritual basis for connecting the dots intellectually. God revealed His power to humanity through His son our Lord and Savior. After the Resurrection, Jesus left us a Comforter; the Holy Spirit empowered to guide us from the heavenly realm. JESUS is for Everybody explains the Resurrection as God's last attempt to show us that the basic instinct of humanity was clearly demonstrated in their treatment of Jesus Christ. As we repent and ask God for forgiveness, it is through His human sacrifice that we recognize our individual shortcomings. "Do not believe every spirit. Put the spirits to the test to see if they belong to God. Many false prophets have gone out into the world. How can you recognize the Spirit of God? Every spirit that agrees Jesus Christ came in a human body belongs to God. But every spirit that doesn't agree with this does not belong to God. It is the spirit of the great enemy of Christ. You have heard that the enemy is coming. Even now he is already in the world." [1 John 4:1-3]

Wisdom in the spirit exists where the intellect meets salvation. It is time to stop thinking in terms of the institution of religion and our separate denominations. The mystery of Jesus has broken family relationships and continues to separate many who truly believe. The question remains, why do we continue separating over the smallest nuances when we are called to come together as one Body in Christ? Believers accept that our goals are not of this world and our success is not measured by financial gain.

The Kingdom of God is here. The Bible can be somewhat complicated so I have developed an organized listing of scriptures to facilitate learning about the teachings of Jesus and His early followers which leave no room for doubt about our instructions from God. Although I've written a commentary at the beginning, the book is not intended to be about me. My goal is to provide an easier method to learn the word of God according to Jesus Christ. I've come to realize that, by the grace of God, my antenna quickly gages into situations involving the elderly, children and the underprivileged. In addition, I believe women should stick together. Building a healthy culture begins with establishing grounds rules based in morality and underlying compassion for survival. Otherwise, a struggle for self identify will persist throughout our culture and will eventually destroy values designed to lead to eternal life.

JESUS is for Everybody sorts scriptures into seven sections: Introduction, God, Faith, Church, the World, Wisdom and Conclusion. Each of the 15 chapters stands alone so the book can be used more readily as a reference guide (see table of contents listed below). If you've never completely read the bible for yourself, reading this book makes it much easier. The scriptures are interesting and the precise wording about our human ways will bring your current situation to light. To understand the world, I've broken references into four components: governance, family, ways and money which explain God's power and how we fit into it all. Our ways dictate how we choose to participate in society as well as practice our faith in God. The chapter on ways includes the definition of sin, the Ten Commandments and teachings from Jesus which clearly points out human tendencies to emphasize one sin over another, based on preconceived notions and individual motive. Money has slowly evolved into the definition of our contribution to life and very little seem to trump its value. I break money and humanity down to its smallest molecule. Wisdom introduces insight into humanity and our existence as a whole. Throughout various chapters, I've included all scriptures from the book of Revelation to remove the mystery from the sequence of events. It is extremely scary how Revelation describes our current situation as well as future events. Once you've completed the entire book, it will become painfully obvious that the circumstances of this life are, by no means, a happenstance. Wisdom also explains how knowledge is the basis for faith and the definition of survival. I've included several scriptures to bridge teachings from the Old Testament to the New Covenant including signs of the last days. And the conclusion contains simple guidance in accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. By then, you will be able to determine whether you believe Jesus is our pathway to God.

I believe that the ministry of Jesus intellectually describes the human revelation with God, and as you compare the specifics with your own circumstances, the evidence becomes quite obvious. Our world is governed by a different level of authority, and the line between God's higher powers is somewhat blurry when you listen to certain religious leaders. People are seriously debating about what Jesus would say today so I hope the facts will reduce speculation and spark a more insightful discussion during a critical time in history.

I am not a bible scholar nor did she study theology. Many times I would ask God for wisdom in the Spirit and to be mounted up on wings like an eagle to soar above this world. After years of praying for these gifts, through all of my highs and lows, God slowly began revealing basic truths to me. I've been told that my passionate delivery can be equated to a Technical Knockout (TKO) in the sport of boxing. This was first said in reaction to an explicit scolding of an old friend who had been separated from his wife and living like a bachelor with no intention for resolution in sight. On behalf of women, I was furious! After I finished, he took a deep breath and said that "you just TKOed me." When I asked what that meant, he explained how my words were like a knockout punch. He went on to explain that I started with a right jab, then threw a left hook and came back with a right upper cut and when he was lying on the floor, I looked down at him and said "now what you make me do that for?" We both laughed because the way he said it was so hilarious. He knew my points were serious but I don't think it should take all of that. So why does it? After his analogy, I could truly identify with his synopsis, but I had no intension of beating him down with the truth. However, what I've learned about my own convictions is that, as long as the debate continues, my passion becomes more and more engaged. What continues to amaze me is how so called Christians refuse to discuss their own ways in accordance with the teaching of Jesus Christ and as I point it out, their conversation proceeds to flip flop all over the place.

Throughout the book you will see that I intentionally chose the term "believer" instead of "Christian" for obvious reasons. Some of the simplest scriptures are still up for debate with Christians, which has a tendency to taint the representation of our Lord. It is time to discuss the truth according to believers. It is time to peel back the onion and talk about the core. The root cause analysis is a common term used in business. Through illustrations and analogies, I want to help people comprehend the consistency of God's message and be able to conclude for one's self that the scriptural recordings are more a matter of fact than individual interpretation. What I've learned by researching it for myself is that believers must adopt and fully implement a belief system. As you continue to seek knowledge overall, it becomes evident how God sent His son into the world to help us understand this life and build faith in everlasting life through Him. The accounting aspect of my job has taught me to seek an intellectual understanding for everything, including spiritual forces. Over the years, God gave me a mission to share my awareness. I constantly pray that God surrounds me with people who love Him and love other people.
