Company CEO Martin R. Benante said, "The acquisition of EST Group provides major growth opportunities in our core markets - nuclear power, oil and gas and naval defense."

EST Group posted 2008 sales of nearly $20 million, and employs 99 people. The company has locations in Louisiana and Texas and a European sales office in the Netherlands.
Roseland, New Jersey-based Curtiss-Wright designs, manufactures and overhauls products for motion control and flow control applications, and provides a variety of metal treatment services. The firm employs around 8,000 people worldwide.
