President of Uzbekistan visits the National Memorial Complex of Pakistan
UZBEKISTAN, March 3 - President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the national memorial complex Pakistan Monument.
The complex in the city of Islamabad covers an area of almost 3 hectares. It was opened in 2007 after three years of construction.
The monument is petal-shaped. The four large petals symbolize Pakistan’s four provinces.
The design is inspired by the Baburids' architecture. There is also a historical museum here.
The President of Uzbekistan was informed about the history of the complex.
