ACS DOUBLES SUN MEMORY FOR M4000 & 5000 SERVERS
Using a common sense engineering approach to fix a memory bottleneck problem, ACS applied its resources to create a 64GB upgrade which will enable the M4000 & 5000 to reach capacities up to ½ Terabyte of memory! The M4000 server can be configured with 2-4 Memory expansion boards allowing for a maximum system memory capacity of 256GB vs. 128GB. The M5000 server can be configured with 2-8 Memory expansion boards allowing for a maximum system memory capacity of 512GB vs. 256GB. ACS was also able to secure standard warranty and service for the product now which it calls “AC-SELX2D1Z”. Company spokesman Steve Harshbarger said “ the AC-SELX@D1Z is currently available for shipment. The reason they produced the product in the first place is that it is far easier and cheaper to upgrade then it is to buy new hardware especially in lieu of current economic challenges.”
