Cyberknife In the News
Miami, Florida — A recent interview with Dr. James G. Schwade, Executive Director of the world renowned Morse Cyberknife Centers, has helped provide insight into what has drawn so many patients to the Florida based treatment facilities from all across the nation.
Marketing for the Cyberknife has proven very effective on small as well as global scales.
In a recent interview, Dr. Schwade http://www.morsecyberknife.com/?pageid=675 as stated to recognize that the Cyberknife was a more marketable tool for radiosurgery than other devices for radiotherapy largely due to people's ability to better understand the mechanics of it by its appearance. Cyberknife radiosurgery is also stated to be highly effective for eligible patients who have had previous treatment and whose conditions have been determined inoperable with other methods. The first treatment of its type developed for the eradication of tumors or lesions in virtually any area of the body, its ability to not cause the same kind of damage to healthy tissues, cells, and other critical areas that treatments like chemotherapy often cause, also makes it a highly sought after option.
The Cyberknife Centers of Miami, Palm Beach, and Tampa Bay have been reported to have formed a united front for achieving the goal of making the revolutionary Cyberknife radiosurgery more easily accessible to a broader base of physicians. The effort is a part of facilitator Morse LLC's mission to ensure that every cancer patient has the opportunity to receive Cyberknife radiosurgery treatment http://www.morsecyberknife.com/CyberKnife-System.htm if it can benefit their condition.

About MorseCyberKnife
Morse LLC operates CyberKnife Centers of Miami and Palm Beach. The CyberKnife Center of Tampa Bay will be open this summer. These facilities are free-standing outpatient centers dedicated to providing image-guided radiosurgery treatments using the CyberKnife. We treat brain, spine, lung, pancreas, liver, prostate, head and neck, and other conditions throughout the body where radiation treatment is indicated. Many of our patients are treated with the CyberKnife for conditions that have been deemed inoperable or from areas that have previously received the maximum level of radiation. The range, accuracy and precision of the CyberKnife system can help target areas that may not be suitable for treatments with traditional surgery, radiation therapy or older radiosurgery systems like the gamma knife. The CyberKnife Center of Miami began treating patients in December of 2003, as the first in the Southeastern U.S. and first in offering CyberKnife treatments in the state of Florida.
Many of our patients travel to Miami from outside of the United States to receive care at our Center. Our physicians are world class and have more experience than anywhere in the U.S. in treating brain and spine conditions as well as whole body conditions, such as lung, pancreas, liver, prostate and head and neck cases. Our Executive Director, Dr. James G. Schwade, has performed more than 1,700 radiosurgery procedures over his 30 years as a Board Certified radiation oncologist. The CyberKnife Center is not directly affiliated with any one hospital or academic institution. It is a community resource center exclusively dedicated to offering radiosurgery with the CyberKnife and used by trained and credentialed physicians from many excellent medical centers in Florida. The CyberKnife Center of Miami is wholly-owned by MORSE LLC, a privately held company.
