NJ based Music Companies to Launch Reality Show
America is tuning in because PEOPLE LIKE TO WATCH
Sayreville, New Jersey - May 23, 2008 - Our voyeuristic society has craved more and more of a look into our neighbor's curtains and reality television has answered the call.
Americans have gone from watching the day-in-the-life existence of a few participants to a more contest-oriented and interactive format; with the latter gaining more of an edge as time has gone on.
Music is also playing a larger role in today's reality shows. So, what if we could get a real look into the lives and struggles of a band of musicians and the world they live in? No dating contests, no fabricated challenges to get to the "next level" - just real life - as it happens and where it happens most - the studio!
Of course, it will not always be a warm and fuzzy ride...
This summer, a new and unique entry to the reality television realm will give audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the music recording and performing world. Tentatively titled "MUSIC Incorporated", the show focuses on the day-to-day operations of AARIUS Studios and Zenergy Productions and their commitment to the New Jersey music community.
This new series takes place at AARIUS Studios, New Jersey's premier rehearsal/recording music complex. The show follows the experiences of the employees but most importantly, provides insight into the trials and tribulations, which test the resiliency and character of emerging bands in an over-saturated market.
Each episode spotlights and profiles the commitments and sacrifices of different studio bands. The cameras roll as the artists strive to attain fame and recognition in the music industry. As they struggle "to make it big", viewers will empathize, sympathize and root for "our heroes" who inevitably discover that personal drive, ambition and talent are not always enough.
Very distinct and diverse personalities make up the cast of "MUSIC Incorporated". Joe and Crystal - a couple who own and operate a business together; Jake and Smitty - who have over 40 years of friendship between them and about as many different ways of seeing a single situation. Add into this mix all the performing artists, some of whom have enjoyed successes in their career but all of whom are still facing many similar challenges in the world of music.
Joe and Crystal Cattano, the owners of AARIUS Studios, came to the rescue of many tri-state area musicians two years ago by turning a dream into a reality. Joe, a life-long musician himself, was a victim of the cruelty so many musicians around the world suffer at the hands of rehearsal studios!
Traditionally, rehearsal spaces are very loosely called studios. Their proprietors do very little as far as upkeep, and in response, musicians renting spaces exercise very little care in their treatment of band equipment and its surroundings. Many bands simply use these spaces as a place to hang out, inviting friends to come and drink or "party" - especially those under drinking age.
Joe and Crystal decided that a place should exist for serious musicians to hone their craft in a professional environmenta place that is aesthetically pleasing to all the senses. So AARIUS Studios was born: a clean, multi-room rehearsal facility sporting full multi-track recording capabilities and fully equipped with brand new top-of-the-line equipment. In a short amount of time, the reputation of AARIUS Studios has grown to such a degree that superstars such as Black Label Society, Blondie, Deborah Harry, Glen Burtnik, Lizzy Borden, and PainmuseuM have utilized the studio.

Zenergy Productions is a Central Jersey-based production company that deals in artist management, concert booking, and corporate special events. Michael "Smitty" Smith and Robert "Jake" Haley began Zenergy Productions seven years ago with the intent to bring great music to people who would otherwise not get to hear it. Realizing that the music business is so much more than the "business of music", they aim to take underground music above-ground. Their commitment to "the cause" has led them to work with current and 'vintage' artists such as Living Colour, Victor Wooten, Evelyn "Champagne" King, TM Stevens, and Dawn Robinson of En Vogue.

AARIUS Studios and Zenergy Productions have formed a novel relationship based on similar drives and beliefs in how things should be done - and so far, they appear to have things covered from A to Z.
The music community has been overwhelmingly supportive in response to the show concept. Although the show is set in New Jersey, there are musical communities around the country boasting great bands and facing similar challenges within their local "scene". Participation and involvement have been unconditionally positive. New Jersey musicians feel they have a story that needs to be told, but most importantly - a story that needs to be heard.
AARIUS Studios is actively pursuing television networks and producers about a show sponsorship.
The show trailer for "MUSIC Incorporated" started airing on internet outlets such as YouTube and MySpace in June 2008: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEfQjaAUJnc
The pilot episode is tentatively scheduled for the Summer of 2008.
