Glendale, CA - May 29, 2008 - WonderWorld's chief Visioneer John Michael Rafanello, who has been working to create the next quantum leap in theme park designs, is scheduled to do a three part one man play here in Glendale.

His humorous and poignant production chronicles a lifetime of magical adventures that lead to his dream of using entertainment to empower people with the ability to materialize their fondest dreams for the benefit of us all.

In the tradition of Mark Twain Tonight, the 1st part of his Johnny Raff Chronicles tells of his upbringing with an amazing and eclectic family - a small town, generous to a fault bookie father who kept everyone laughing; a beloved mother named Beatrice who always signed her cards Bea Happy, an Italian grandmother and a host of colorful relatives who forever pleasured him with fabulous foods and a grandfather who taught him how to transform his life at The Speed of Thought.

As a master story teller, John's seemingly never-ending tales will warm your heart and bring you to tears.

In part - II, entitled Blessed with Magic, the audience is entertained with a series of John's reality transcending experiences - a series of magical adventures that lend creditability to the biblical message that It Is Done Unto Us As We Believe.

I've studied with geniuses and crackpots all over the world in an attempt to discover the things that enable us to create a life and a world that is everything we want it to be. I was once told that when Christ was doing his miracles he turned to his apostles and said, "These things Ye Shall Do and Greater Things." I am eternally grateful to all the people who guided me to experience how true this is.

In the final episode of his three performance play, John tells of characters, philosophies and know-how that inspired him to envision a quantum leap in theme parks, films and video games enabling us to materialize a life grander than ever known before.

Back when the last Star Wars movie was released The Glendale News Press ran story about John decorating every room of his home with an array of "Star Wars" Memorabilia.

"I created our Star Wars parties as an invitation to my friends to embrace philosophies that empower us with the ability to create anything we can imagine. Nearly all of our Science Fiction movies are a projection of our war and conflict oriented mentalities. I can't help believing that the universe is chuck full of loving and amazingly creative aliens. I think it's quite a disservice to portray them as war-like. It would be wonderful if George Lucas made another trilogy in which the Jedi and the Seth discover that all the external conflict is a reflection of our internally created ones. In studying with geniuses around the world I experienced know-how that enables us to get anything we desire without the need to harm anyone, including ourselves, in the process. That's what my theme park and feature film projects are all about."

Opening night for The Johnny Raff Chronicles is scheduled for 7:30 PM Monday 2, June 2008. At present only nine Monday night performances have been scheduled. They will be delivered in the sanctuary of First Lutheran Church at 1300 East Colorado Boulevard in Glendale. John then hopes to take the production to a more traditional theatrical venue.

Tickets are $ 20 for one part and $ 60 for all three parts You can purchase them by calling John direct at 818-546-2254 Tickets will also be available the night of the performance.
