Farm Team Consulting Launched
GOP political consulting firm first to focus exclusively on local campaigns
Sacramento, CA - April 30, 2008 (RPRNewswire08)-- Farm Team Consulting, the first statewide political consulting and campaign management agency to focus exclusively on electing Republicans to city and county offices throughout California has been established.
Farm Team Consulting is the brainchild of veteran Republican consultant Andrew Russo, whose Paramount Communications is the leading political consulting agency on the Central Coast. Russo boasts over fifteen years of professional political experience managing dozens of successful campaigns for City Council, Board of Supervisors, County Sheriff, District Attorney, and judicial and school board offices.
"There is a dearth of reputable Republican consultants at the local level in California. Time and time again, I have been told by local candidates in various parts of the state that they have no agency to turn to when they want to run for office," Russo stated. "Their only alternative is to engage in self-management which is usually a failure or approach high-priced Sacramento consultants who specialize mostly in legislative or statewide ballot issue campaigns."
"Farm Team Consulting will fill a vacuum on the Republican side in local politics in California. Now, local candidates - from school board to County Supervisor - have an agency to manage their campaigns. It is from these local candidates that Republicans will develop their 'Farm Team' of candidates for higher office, just as the Democrats have historically done."
Farm Team Consulting will offer a full package of campaign management services, including strategy, direct mail, television and radio production, media buying, earned media, grassroots voter contact programs, and Internet marketing. It will also offer access to specialized services like polling and opposition research.
Farm Team Consulting also plans to work with local Republican organizations and committees to help identify promising candidates for city and county offices as well as offer local candidates access to Sacramento lobbyists and legislative leaders. However, Russo emphasized, Farm Team Consulting "is in no way affiliated, associated, or aligned with the California Republican Party or any other GOP group. While we welcome the interest and support of Republican organizations, Farm Team Consulting is a political consulting firm, period."
Russo said Farm Team Consulting is launching its initial marketing drive with an introductory mailer to Republican elected officials at the local level as well as unveiling its new website, www.farmteamconsulting.com
