AviIT to Introduce eMan Technical Publications Management System
LONDON--AviIT, the aviation technology solutions company, is pleased to announce that it will be introducing its eMan technical documentation management system at the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) on the (25th - 27th September 2007) and at the MRO conference & exhibition in Milan, Italy (7th - 8th November 2007) Booth # 206.
eMan is an electronic document library and application management system that has been specifically developed by AviIT for aircraft engineering and MRO organizations. There is an ever increasing volume of complex electronic format manuals, applications, web sites, regulatory information and revisions that users must have easy access to when researching, planning or performing maintenance on any aircraft. eMan solves this problem by enabling easy but managed access over any network to all required information regardless of type or source.
A full thin-client, Microsoft .NET, server-based software solution, eMan enables any format of electronic documentation and any application to be stored in one client-hosted, central location and yet be accessed and viewed from any local or remote location, on practically any computing device, and over any type of communications network via a simple to use and consistent user interface.
Already implemented at several leading airlines and MRO's, eMan has been shown to dramatically increase efficiency while reducing the costs of aircraft maintenance and engineering operations. Efficiency benefits delivered by eMan include documented audit, version control and compliance; the one-stop upload of electronic format manuals and applications; and the potential to reduce subscription costs. For the end users, eMan provides fast and easy access to all information whether working locally in the hangar or aircraft, at line maintenance stations, or any remote location with even the smallest bandwidth connectivity.
