Semcon Receives Order from GM Europe

STOCKHOLM, Sweden--Regulatory News:

Semcon has received an order from General Motors regarding complete simulation and calculation of a new automotive project. The order, which was won amid tough international competition, required advanced technical specialist competence and includes the areas of accident, life cycle and comfort.

The project, which will run until mid 2009 will, for the most part, be carried out in Sweden, but also in Germany. "This order applies to the European market, but it also provides us with possibilities for similar projects outside of Europe. The order also shows that our build-up of international technical competence delivers results and is something we will continue to invest in," says Stefan Ohlsson, Senior Vice President Semcon Automotive R&D.

Semcon is 3 800 committed people with a passion for product development, technical information and IT. Today, Semcon is in 15 countries on five continents. Semcon has sales of around SEK 3.4 billion a year (2006) and is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange's Nordic list.
